the day we've been waiting for

Today is the day that Tyler moves back to SC and we get to live together for the very first time! We have literally looked forward to this day for 2 and 1/2 years and it seems surreal that it is actually here. Our relationship has consisted of 7 hour drives to see each other, countless text messages, and hours upon hours of phone conversation. We have endured a deployment where we went weeks without speaking and months without seeing each other. We have endured weeks and weekends spent apart for so, so long. We do not know what it's like to see each other every day, or every week for that matter. We have experienced the longing and excitement you get when you are about to see the person you love after time spent apart...over and over again. We have experienced the true meaning of missing someone. We have experienced people complain after not seeing their significant other for one night and we've always just laughed and rolled our eyes...if only they knew what it was really like. I've been told countless times "I just don't know how you do it." Military life has not been easy. We have had our downs with our ups. We've fought for our relationship every single day and fought hard. If anyone asks me what our secret was, I have one easy answer, TRUST. We came out on top and we've made it work. Its been worth every single second. After all, Love Never Fails.

Tyler ends his career today as a United States Marine. He has fought for our country for the last 8 years. He is my hero and I will never be able to tell him how much his sacrifices and bravery has meant to me. I am so, so proud of him. He has been months and months without seeing his family and friends and I will never truly understand how hard that sacrifice was. He has been all over the world and been on deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and South America. He is such an amazing man because of his experiences in the USMC. He has fought for something he believed in and fought when most of the rest of us chose not to. It's men and women like him that are the reason we get to live our amazing lives in the USA. He has wore his uniform proudly for the last 8 years and is one hell of a Marine. Thank you for your service Tyler Moore.

We are both so thankful for these last 2 and 1/2 years. We have both grown so much and we now know that our relationship can make it through anything. It has taught us to never take a kiss goodnight, a face to face conversation, or time spent together for granted!

Also, I want to thank our family and friends for being there for us. We wouldn't have made it without y'all so thank you and we love every single one of you.

Welcome Home! :) I can't wait to celebrate this weekend!

I love you, Tyler!

We made it!!!
